Rosetta Web is designed to show not just relationships, but the evidentiary weight supporting them. The public site will distinguish what is documented from what remains unresolved or requires additional records.
Our evidence system →Direct evidence establishes the relationship.
Evidence supports a broader procurement or material relationship.
Multiple records support the relationship.
Evidence warrants further investigation.
Evidence is conflicting or incomplete.
A record should exist but has not yet been recovered.
“Historical research is not complete when the facts are discovered, but when their connections are understood.”
Public release strategy
Website v1.1 is an informational research site. The private Rosetta Web evidence workbook remains offline and separate.
Internal working evidence, notes, unresolved questions, and retrieval targets remain private.
Records intended for publication are checked, classified, and documented first.
Only reviewed material moves to RosettaWeb.org.
